15.01.2022 Today was a very special day for the Lukuleles as we celebrated the 70th birthday of our group leader, Heather. It was just over 12 months ago that Heather approached the Mount Gambier Library and suggested if anyone ever wants to start some ukulele lessons, I’d be happy to help out! It was an offer the Library simply couldn’t refuse but instead of just helping out Heather was placed front and centre, and the Lukuleles were born. A huge thank you to our group members Jeff and Joylene for composing Heathers special birthday song, and of course to Heather for your enthusiasm and friendship and bringing us all together in our ukulele family. Happy Birthday Heather, you’re now 70 cha cha cha!

15.01.2022 We are very excited (and a bit nervous too let’s be honest) to take part in this event... Stay tuned for more details!

13.01.2022 We are so lucky to have access to some very clever people at the Mount Gambier Library who have assisted us in producing some 3D printed items for our members to wear. We are so happy with how they have turned out! If you see these earrings or badges out in the wild you know the wearer is a LUKULELE!
