Our flavours are on the savoury side and a lighter colour compared to KL, Johor and etc. And of course a little wet compared to others. As a lot of loyal customers know, we at Lulus CKT can customise your order ie. more char and more noodles, absolutely free of charge and if youre not satisfied when you taste it the first bite please come forward to us and well replace another one for you. No questions ask. (This is for dine in only) We dont want our customers to walk out the store feeling unsatisfied. Secondly, Pricing We at Lulus price our products accordingly to the market. As a small business, especially at this current environment nothing is easy. We pay bills, expenses from A to Z. So if youre happy to order knowing the price already, please dont mention about feel like being ripped off. Its like willing buyer willing seller. Thirdly, Portion We received numerous complaints about the size portion. With this weve upsize from our current 250gram noodles to 300gram noodles. This started last week. Hopefully you can enjoy the food feeling full afterwards. Lastly, wed like to say that nothing is easy in the new world now. We at Lulus will try our best to serve the most authentic Penang style CKT to all, we must support everyone around, let it be friends, businesses and others. 16.01.2022 Repost @willtravelforfood17 Char kway teow (fried rice noodles) is one of the most iconic Malaysian/Singaporean dishes. Its essentially noodles fried in a wok over high heat. A good char kway teow must have wok hei ie the taste of the breath of the wok. Its the flavour and aroma of the seasoned noodles caramelising against a searing hot seasoned wok. These noodles we ordered from @luluckt had beautiful wok hei and were very tasty. I even went the further step and ordered my char kway teow with duck egg instead of chicken egg which made it even more delicious.
