25.01.2022 It's amazing to learn more and more about the history of this stunning property. We have learned that many many years ago the property held a large 'boarding style' home where weary travelers could stay the night and enjoy 'Supper, Indoor Plumbing, Hot Water and Tennis' It was named 'Lulworth' and sadly it was destroyed by fire. The delightful people who built the next version of accommodation many years on decided to continue with tradition and use the same name.... We recently found this gem of a sign from many moons ago :)
25.01.2022 We all know that the Daylesford and Hepburn area is famous for it's natural mineral springs, but did you know that the region has eighty percent of all the mineral springs in Victoria? There are many locations around the area where you can hand pump water directly from the natural mineral springs to taste the water in it's most natural state. Its well worth a visit to the local information center to find a location that might suit your family/friends to expolre

24.01.2022 Too cute not to share again! Meet Doug one of our regular visitors to the Cottages :) We frequently have wildlife on the property and we wholeheartedly encourage you all to enjoy them and take photos to share. ... Please do remember however that they are wild animals and we do ask that you don't feed them and do your best not to frighten them in any way.

18.01.2022 We're lucky enough to have a friend who is truly talented when it comes to capturing beautiful images. These are just a few of the ones he captured on his last visit to 'The Cottages at Hepburn Springs' back when the days were a little longer and the weather was a little warmer <3 Thanks Marcel :)... https://www.facebook.com/MarcelVanderHorstPhotographer/?fref=ts

11.01.2022 Thank you Hannah for your stay and wonderful message. Our new cleaners and updates to the property have made customers feel more welcome and really let their stress out and relax in the country side and explore the area. 11.01.2022 Hello! The Hepburn Springs area is currently experiencing a power outage. Powercor have suggested the power will be active at approx 1:30am. Sorry for any inconvenience. It seems to be affecting all areas surrounding Hepburn Springs, Daylesford and Trentham.
10.01.2022 If you're lucky enough to be in the area this weekend take some time to visit the Daylesford Farmers Market, held first Saturday of each month at Daylesford Primary School. You will find everything from cheese, olives, olive oil, eggs, fresh meats, fresh veg and fruit, local honey, jams & preserves, bread, and sometimes even truffles! http://www.visitvictoria.com//Daylesford-Farmers-Market.as

05.01.2022 Emergency Victoria has issued a Watch and Act notice for the Hepburn Springs / Daylesford Area due to a grass fire that has begun to burn through the bush. The CFA, 35 fire engines and 2 helicopters are on the task. Those in the area have been notified and we have suspended all bookings for 3 days until further notice. ... We have kept the property green without cutting the grass for as long as possible for 2 reasons. 1. When we cut the grass back it is very dry and a stray cigarette or ember attack could easily ignite it. 2. The Kangaroos, Wombats, Wallabies et al that frequent the property love to eat it, which means you get to meet the locals at dusk. We are confident and praying that the winds don't change and that there are no casualties.
03.01.2022 Hello. Forest Ave, Hepburn Springs is currently experiencing some power issues with restoration to be expected at approx 4:30am. I have spoken to some of the residents who had issues with flickering lights and they still have constant power, albeit just with a bit of flickering. If any guests have any issues please call Costa on 0433 220 139. Thank You =)
