05.01.2022 whilst we grieve the tragic death of sisto. it is a good time to reflect on the impact this warm, cheeky and flamboyant man had on so many people over his 44 yrs at Pellegrini's. i have fond memories of pellegrini;s from the late 80's to the late 90's when a quick pasta at the counter, or an espresso with a cigarette was the norm for us hospo kids. sisto's love for the industry was infectious and completely genuine. to the godfather of hospitality thank you for placing melbourne on the food map of the world. you a true gentleman and you will be sadly missed by all.
