25.01.2022 Looks like we are in for a long time self isolating and the tourism industry in deep decline due to the virus. Before and now photos of our once busy chalets now silent and closed until who knows when! Very weird feeling closing up and covering the furniture!

25.01.2022 Dear Guests, Due to Covid-19 we have implemented an easy check-in and check-out system for your safety and convenience. We will send you a text or email prior to your stay with friendly instructions with check-in. We are complying with the Covid-19 regulations such as even higher level of cleaning and sanitising. For your safety we are closing off each chalet for 2 days after each guest stay to air them out and cleaning. Your health and safety are our major concerns so you can be assured of a safe stay as our chalets are separated from each other. Otherwise everything is the same, we still have the stunning views, wildlife roaming freely and peace and tranquility. If we know your arrival time we will have your wood heater burning so you have a very warm and cosy welcome.

22.01.2022 YAY this month August 2004 we received our first booking for the then Rainbow Retreat Eco Wilderness Cabins, what a blast. It was a last minute booking and we had literally just completed the build. Sixteen years later we still have the same passion and love of our business, we still love hosting our guests and sharing our beautiful piece of paradise, we still get excited when we get a booking. This has been our life for 16 years plus 2 years building our chalets. Total 18 ye...ars in paradise! We have been through bushfires and many obstacles including Covid-19 but we still have maintained our passion and love for the area and the special guests that our business attracts. 10.01.2022 New state government $100 Travel Vouchers beginning the 1st September for 3 months. We are accepting bookings when the full details are announced. Together with our already reduced prices you will be able to stay for $50 a night...geez I may book one myself :D As a way to get the Tasmanian tourism industry through the COVID-19 border closures you can get $100 to book a room in a hotel mid-week or $50 for a tourism experience like a cruise, walk or entry to a site like Port A...rthur or Tahune Airwalk. For the latest news on the COVID-19 pandemic read our coronavirus updates. So you either get $100 to cover one hotel room during the week, or $50 off one experience any day of the week. Not both. What does the Premier mean by mid-week? Well, we will have to get back to you on that one. But don't book your annual leave in too quick. The vouchers are available from September 1 for the months of September, October and November.

06.01.2022 Hello everyone we are still here in self imposed lockdown and actually enjoying our piece of paradise catching up on lots of stuff! We are however looking forward to opening after the Covid-19 is clear and sharing our space with the local Tasmanian community to begin with and as the state government eases restriction we will be welcoming our mainland visitors.
