01.01.2022 Your therapist at Lumiére Natural Therapies: Rachael is a dedicated mother of three who carries with her a lifelong passion for Holistic therapy. She is an eternal student when it comes to the body, mind and spirit and their deep connections with each other. A certified massage therapist and 6th Degree Reiki Master, Rachael has applied her techniques in far reaching and varied fields. She began studying The Original Seven Level System of Reiki in 2009, continuing her studies ...and graduating as a Reiki Master in 2014. The system of Reiki she uses dates back approximately ten thousand years. A certified remedial massage therapist, specialising in Swedish, remedial, myofascial release & reflexology Rachael runs her business from the iconic Carrington Hotel, Katoomba, while also working with a number of respected businesses in the Blue Mountains region of New South Wales, including Mountain Whispers luxury accommodation, Mandala Massage and Jill’s Retreat Day Spa. Rachael has also applied her care to respected medical establishments and is recommended by a number of General Practitioners in her area for clients looking for complimentary therapies. She has provided long term Reiki care to patients of the Cancer Wellness Support organisation, as well as palliative therapies to numerous aged care facilities throughout New South Wales. As part of this holistic approach to care, Rachael has offered guided group meditation to the elderly as well, understanding the great need for human connection and touch, deciding to make it her life purpose to provide a service which empowers and nurtures the human spirit.
