21.01.2022 So I kinda mucked up! - A few months ago I spoke on my stories about being transparent and having a way for potential clients to access your pricing on your website - this is still 100% my beliefs that pricing should be accessible, even if your service is custom at least have a starting from. - Now where I went wrong, is I went ahead and changed how my pricing was being displayed on my site. Instead of just displaying the pricing (how I ...have always had it) I thought I would take it a step further and still allow customers to access my pricing by downloading a more detailed PDF. I thought it would be a good opportunity to build my list as well as monitor how many people were downloading it. - I was speaking to a few people around this and said I was testing it to see how it would go, but honestly, I wasn't too sure about it. - It wasn't until I saw a post from @sarahkcoaching that it finally clicked! Transparency is one of my values, and by putting it behind a wall I didn't feel I was being super transparent enough and I kinda just followed the crowd and thought well this is the thing to do. 20.01.2022 When I first started in business I quickly realised how lonely it was. So this shy introvert stepped out of her comfort zone and booked in a few days at a pop-up co-working day with @weareoneroof. It was here I found how inspiring it was to be apart of a group of women all working on their own business. - From there I joined @suzchadwick for coaching, events, workshops, co-working days & courses. I can't tell you what this did for my business as well as my ...mental health being apart of such an amazing community, especially in the early days! (Suz has a way of attracting the most awesome peeps into her tribe!) - These day's I am also part of some amazing groups online which has continued to help inspire me as well supported my business growth over the years. I'm apart of @katetoon Digital Masterchef's group, @chromaticalclub Club and most recently I have also joined @ohmydigital online membership group. - It may seem like a lot, but I find much more value to be in paid membership groups. 12.01.2022 {TIP} Make your social links easily visible on your website, that way you can encourage your visitors to follow along your journey and get to know you better over on those platforms. - Having an Instagram feed on your site is great to showcase the posts you have, but just be warned, Instafeeds on your site though can slow it down as it needs to pull in data from Instagram to load on your site.
