10.01.2022 Visited a customer in Toowoomba to install his brand new Luna KD350PS Aluminium Drop Saw package. They needed a low cost solution that would give them accuracy and reliability. They chose the KD350PS as it had the cutting capacity they needed and could see the advantages of purchasing a complete "turn key" solution from Luna Machinery. This is a fairly typical setup for a drop saw. We boost the productivity for our customers with our "Made in Queensland" Luna Maxi Digita...l measuring stop and Luna Roller Conveyor system. Most other machines use a generic gravity conveyor that are designed for moving boxes around a warehouse. We optimised our conveyor and measuring stop for ease of use and linear accuracy. Inside every roller we use two steel roller bearings that has been optimised for long service life and concentricity. As part of our company we offer professional installation of all our machine to eliminate any chance of error and ensures the customer ends up with a proper, accurate aluminium cutting machine. 09.01.2022 End Milling/Notching Tooling setup. Got another End Miller machine with tooling for a customer. This one is for a window system. Got one cutter set to mill all these profiles in one pass. Each "Stack" consists of various circular Slotting blade and spacers to suit each profile. These are fixed onto an arbor. The completed "Stack" means the machine can swap over to different jobs very quickly.... This job will consist of 4 cutter "Stacks" and will machine a total of 15 different profiles. Works out to be A LOT cheaper than punch tools. Not many people understand what an End Milling Machine can do. They are very easy to retool for different jobs that come up.
