22.01.2022 We recently had @MaxineLee join us to chat about goalsetting (specifically OKRs) for startups. The things that really stood out are: 1 - Starting small and simple is totally ok when setting OKRs in your business for the first time. 2- You don’t need expensive software or days-long strategy sessions - you can kick-off with 3 or 4 objectives and track them in an email thread with your team. ... 3- The important thing is to keep them alive - they shouldn’t be static, exiled to a Google Doc graveyard. If you missed out, you can watch the recording here. Maxine shares a bunch of tips and useful resources! https://www.youtube.com/watch

12.01.2022 Eddie Jaku is the happiest man on Earth. Not a title you'd expect for a Holocaust survivor. As a Jewish boy in Germany at the outbreak of WWII, Eddie Jaku was beaten, imprisoned in multiple concentration camps (including Auschwitz), and learned his family was murdered by Nazis. I lost my freedom, my dignity, and my faith in humanity, Eddie says in this profoundly moving TEDx talk. After the war, he got married, and when his first son was born, he felt his heart heal. From that day, Eddie made a vow to teach and share happiness with everyone he meets.
