The Government has put in place the current Restrictions All patrons must be seated while dining and or Drinking 1.5m Social Distancing is in place, please refrain from touching each other... BlazeAid wants to know whether a base is needed or warranted to help farmers and property owners rebuild their fencing after the recent fires. We need Shire and community support and the local sports/ recreation facility with dining / toilets and showers for several weeks as a base for this to happen. The President and the Hall Committee of Management and the Shire would... need to be agreeable and supportive. If you have contacts with any of the above, please urge them to think about aligning the stars and planets for a blazeaid camp- the benefits are enormous for those who have lost so much. 09.01.2022 UPDATE!! SERVICE HAS RETURNED FOR MOBILES AND LANDLINES Drake Area has currently lost all mobile and landline service. The town is fine. The fire has broken a containment line in the southeast near Ewingar and has jumped the Clearance River and heading to meet the Busbys Flat Rd Fire.

05.01.2022 We are Sad to say we lost one of our treasured locals. Duck. Duck passed away on the 24th of Februrary in Tenterfield Hospital. Ducks familys and friends are gathering for his funeral tomorrow back in his home town of Pallamallawa and the Town of Drake will gather on Saturday from 2pm onwards to say goodbye. Duck, you may be gone, through you will never be forgotten.

We will have a Bottleshop Only tomorrow be open Everyday opening at Midday and closing at 8pm... The Kitchen will be accepting Take-away Phone Orders Only for Lunch Saturday and Sunday 12-2pm And for Dinner Wednesday - Saturday 5pm-7.30. We thank you for your understanding and support.

01.01.2022 The Locals got a bit of a shock tonight. They met a Fire Fighter who has now been here in Drake twice fighting our Long Gully Fire. Thanks to all the guys who have returned to help us fight our fire we really appreciate all your efforts
