19.01.2022 Announcing the Wildcard FINALIST animation short FAREWELL from China in the Coal Coast Film Festival's International category! Congratulations to director Qing Yang!! Farewell is Qing Yang's student project for the Beijing Film Academy and she loves animation. "I hope to use animation to tell stories, bring fresh ideas and make my own contribution to the development of animation," she says. This short film explores the relationship between a father, a fireman who must choose between family and country, and his young son. "To each and every victim and the great family behind them - they are always with us, and may we never say goodbye," states Qing Yang. Farewell will be screened at the Coal Coast Film Festival in March 2021, hosted by LundinStudio.
