11.01.2022 How is your skin reacting to your new mask wearing habit? I’ve heard about maskne (mask related acne), so I’ve put together a few tips which may help you Make sure your mask is clean! Washing your mask regularly, or wearing disposable masks means less grime & bacterial which will prevent breakouts. Make sure your mask fits properly. A good fit reduces chafing, skin irritation and redness. Wash your face regularly! Make sure you wash your face before wearing you...r mask so your skin is as clean as possible. Once you get home from wearing your mask, wash your face again to remove any sweat & dirt that has built up. You don’t want to cause dryness so keep washing only up to twice a day. Make sure your hands are always clean, especially before touching or washing your face! Exfoliate a couple times a week! Unclogging your pores, removing dead skin and excess oils will prevent breakouts. Keep your skin hydrated. Moisturising in the morning and at night will keep your skin hydrated, and prevent your skin from needing to produce extra oils. Moisturisers containing anti-inflammatory ingredients can help sooth irritated skin. Double your water intake for the day. Your skin will love you for it and it will show! Wear less makeup! Wearing makeup in general clogs your pores, so adding a mask on top doesn’t help. If you wear a heavy foundation, try swapping it for a light weight or a mineral powder or tinted moisturiser. 11.01.2022 UPDATE regarding BOOKINGS // It was announced over the weekend that October 26th is the projected date beauty salons can reopen, HOWEVER this is if cases are low and stay low! Because of the uncertainty I am not booking anyone in as yet but I will be in touch as soon as I can (hopefully in a couple of weeks). Once I have confirmation on the date, I will make my way down the waiting list, and contact all of you to book in your appointments. If you are not on the waiting list and want to be contacted for a booking, please text your name and what service you are after to 0438 914 747. We are staying positive and hope cases keep dropping

11.01.2022 Well that was fun while it lasted! Today will be our last day of trading for 6 weeks due to stage 3 lock down! It’s a tough time for so many of us, but lets keep our heads up and remember it’s for the best, I we can finally get this right! If you have an appointment over the next couple weeks, we will need to reschedule. At this stage the salon will back open again in mid Aug, but bookings will be tentative until we get confirmation. ... Bookings can be made via text message and email over the next 6 weeks. 07.01.2022 Morning ladies, unfortunately we did not get any clarification over the weekend on an opening date. We were hoping for the date to be earlier but it’s not looking that way. At this stage it’s looking like the opening date for beauty will remain 26th October. This again could change but we are being hopeful. I will be contacting everyone on the wait list to book in your appointments starting tomorrow. So please have your phones on you as it’s first in best dress. I have a long list to get through so if you don’t hear from me this week, you will early next week. Please be patient, I will do my best to accomodate everyone. We are getting closer, I can’t wait to see you all x
