21.01.2022 Financial Standard article below that I was interviewed for in relation to closing the superannuation gap between men and women. The best part about being a financial planner is helping clients improve their superannuation over time so they can live their best life in retirement. Choice of super fund is important but equally important is getting the right strategy in place including a well-managed active investment option suited to the individual's tolerance to risk, debt ma...nagement and an affordable contributions strategy. #financialplanning #valueofadvice https://www.financialstandard.com.au//super-for-women-unde

16.01.2022 2020/2021 New Financial Year, thankfully 2019/2020 is behind us, happy to see that one go... Half way through 2020 its a great time to reflect on where we are at. I started my financial planning business just before the GFC in 2008, so I strongly believe there is never the perfect time to start something you want to do! I have really enjoyed seeing my first clients from 2008 grow in their financial confidence and reach their retirement goals. The best time to plan your finances for the future is now! #valueofadvice #financialplanning

06.01.2022 Financial Advice v Product Advice - What's the difference? As a financial planner I believe there is a degree of misunderstanding amongst Australian's with the difference between product advice and financial advice. #financialadvice #valueofadvice

03.01.2022 Women need swimwear tailored to their needs, but do they really need a super fund? This week facebook ads have me as someone who may be interested in a "superfund for women". It comes with a "free support squad" including a financial coach. These coaches don’t work for "free" despite being promoted that way, they get paid via the fees generated by all members of the fund. All members pay these costs regardless of whether they utilise the services. Why would anyone take advice... from a "financial coach" rather than a qualified and licenced professional Financial Planner? If I need legal advice I will consult a solicitor not out a "legal coach", for accounting advice a CA/CPA rather that finding a unlicensed "accounting guru" and If I want building advice a licenced builder may be the way to go rather than the bloke down the street who did his own dodgy carport... $100 invested by a woman is not any different to $100 from a man! Talk to a financial planner about your super and financial needs, good advice pays off! https://www.afr.com//pink-super-fund-charges-women-a-premi See more
