19.01.2022 Can you hear it? It’s starts at about 4:30am... Rainbow lorikeets!... here by the hundreds! Pretty birds but so so damaging to our orchard These trees are around our house and can’t be covered by nets, so because of these birds and the fruit bats at night they end up striping our trees fruit to nothing! 19.01.2022 Terrible. And you go to Tasmania where this type of education is growing and and agriculture is high on the governments agenda. We will really have a shortage of skilled farmers in the years to come. Is there going to be a new replacement of this type of training?? It’s such a shame. 18.01.2022 Today was an interesting day picking 10 varieties of #lychee ! Whilst we typically pick 6 commercial lychee varieties (on different days), we have some ‘trial’ ones that need picking too.
