25.01.2022 Interesting news for music producers! 'Spleeter' - A new tool created by Deezer which uses artificial intelligence to split a full mp3/wav song into separate vocals/drums/bass stems. https://www.musicradar.com//deezer-introduces-spleeter-a-f

23.01.2022 Finish Tracks. I don't recommend spending months on end bogged down on trying to get one track perfect, especially when you're still in the early stages of music production. Finish as many tracks as you can, as often as you can. I know, a lot of us like to be perfectionists but chances are what sounds "perfect" to you now won't sound so refined 2 years on when you've become more knowledgeable and evolved as an artist.

20.01.2022 Dont chase trends.. Your music should be a reflection of yourself, not something you use to gain temporary popularity. Not only will your fans appreciate you more in the long run, but youll become much happier with yourself and what youre creating when youre honest about the message youre trying to put out there. Do what you love, not what you think theyll love now.

18.01.2022 I highly recommend using Distrokid or a similar service for self releasing music and pushing your songs to the likes of Spotify, iTunes, Google Play and tonnes more. It's a great way to get your music to those commercial platforms without having to bank on getting signed to labels and waiting decades for them to get your music into the wild. You also keep 100% of your royalties! https://distrokid.com/

13.01.2022 Make use of your mornings! If youve been working on a track all night, it helps to come at it with a fresh perspective first thing in the morning and hearing which is at its most sensitive state. You might notice how you turn down your radio or music in the morning because of how loud it was from the night before, this is because our hearing fatigues as the day goes on. Before you listen to music or work on any songs, critique your own tracks first thing in the morning. It might give you new insight into what youre creating.

10.01.2022 Working on a song flat out for a short period of time and then taking 3 months off from making anything isnt going to be the most effective way to grow as an artist. Set massive goals that will drive you to work on your music every day. Make it a daily routine where you can invest as much time as you can, even 15 minutes to half an hour if you have to. You want to create habits that work, even if you aren't in the mood to. The results in the long run will speak for themselves.

10.01.2022 Couldn't say no to this little bargain. Latest addition to the studio!

05.01.2022 This picture is something a lot of producers need to see more often. To build upon the last status, Im sure a lot of you are sitting on a bunch of songs that are half-finished. You get excited about making a new track, youre flowing, in the zone and everything is coming together fast. You finally have that idea down into a short loop or youve developed a specific part of the track. But it never gets past that stage. Before you know it you lose motivation with it so you decide to start something else, and the vicious cycle begins all over again. Arrangement is something I see a lot of beginners struggle with. Get that idea down, then arrange it into a full-length track soon as you can. Dont overthink it and use a reference track if you have to. One finished track is worth more than a bunch of drafts.

05.01.2022 One day my music will be perfect. One day my music will be discovered by a big name. One day when I have more time Ill be able to work on it more.... Everyones waiting for their one true perfect moment, but what happens when that moment never arrives? People constantly wait for something or someone else to change their life. The truth is, its on you to make it happen. Read more - https://lusivearts.com/2020/03/15/one-day/

04.01.2022 Emes in the studio working on a couple of original tracks. Looking to make some waves in the club scene!

02.01.2022 Use monitors to critique your tracks. Producing in headphones is a convenient way to get things done, but they wont replicate how your track will translate across to big speaker systems. A lot of the time people get it sounding amazing in their headphones without doing the final tests & mixdown on monitors or other speakers and wonder why their track sounds nothing like they thought it did when hearing it for the first time.

01.01.2022 The music industry is typically one of the HARDEST industries to "make it". There are MILLIONS of producers and singers that are all fighting for the same piece of cookie. Are you willing to deal with falling over time and time again?... Are you ready to take on the barrage of setbacks and rejections? How many times would it take for you to fall over before giving up on reaching the top of that mountain? You have to know, deep down that you'll be unshakable no matter what people say or do to try and hold you back. Read more - https://lusivearts.com/2020/03/22/are-you-ready/
