O Terroir de Xisto Ao microclima específico da Vidigueira juntam-se os solos de xisto característicos da nossa herdade e que, por sua vez, originam vinhos cheios de frescura e mineralidade. Os vinhos do Alentejo são, em geral, encorpados e suaves. As nuances, ainda que subtis, são um resultado direto dos terroirs e das diferentes condições climáticas onde os vinhos nascem. Vidigueira's unique microclimate Our vineyards are part of the Vidigueira’s Sub-Region (DOC). This region with its microclimate, has specific characteristics that provide the ideal conditions to produce wines that are unique. Perfect sun exposure, warm and dry summers, tempered by a fresh breeze from the Atlantic and a significant delta between the night and day temperatures. A Schist Terroir Vidigueira’s microclimate combined with the estate’s schist terroir, generates a common thread in all our wines, which is their freshness as well as their mineral notes. Alentejo wines are generally full-bodied and smooth.
