22.01.2022 LYV's Christian Life Week is a Lutheran school holiday camp for high school students. Normally held at Tandara Lutheran Camp in the July and September holidays, this year LYV: Lutheran Youth of Victoria is hosting a combined online camp for 2020 called: "CLW@Home" This online camp will run a little shorter, but will still be filled with all the fun things that make our in-person CLWs so much fun! All you need is a home computer and/or smartphone/tablet, access to the Internet..., and your Bible! Thanks to the generosity of LLL Australia this camp is completely FREE to attend. Please register ASAP as numbers are limited. Camp packs will be posted out to participants, so the sooner you register, the sooner you'll get your mail! (These will also be made available electronically.) If you have any questions, please contact Maya at LYV on (03) 9236 1220, and keep an eye on the event page for updates. 09.01.2022 We're looking forward to presenting an incredible Empower YYAM Ministry Training Day next year (LYV's EMPOWER '21) on Saturday 6 February... and we're DELIGHTED... to share with you that our Keynote Speakers for 2021 will be Pastors Noel Due & Nathan Hedt from the Lutheran Church of Australia's New and Renewing Churches ministry... with the theme: SETTING OUR SAILS TO CATCH THE WIND ‘And suddenly there came from heaven a sound like a mighty rushing wind, and it filled the entire house where they were sitting’ (Acts 2:2). The Holy Spirit is often described in very elemental terms: fire, wind and water chief among them. These describe not who he is, but what he does. Neither Christian life nor leadership are self-directed or self-empowered activities. We simply set our sails to catch the Wind, whom we know and believe to be ‘the Lord, the Giver of Life’.
