19.01.2022 Assalam alikum everyone, We are pleased to announce that Masjid Lutwyche will be holding the Eid Prayer in the nearby park, WA Jolly Park, on Friday, the 31st of July 2020. Please click on the link below to register for a spot for you and the people coming with.... Registration will resume Today afternoon, 2:30pm. Schedule for Eid Prayer: - Takbeer will start at 7:30am. - Prayer starts at 8:00am. - Prayer concludes about 8:30am. - Breakfast barbecue will be served afterwards. Some people found the event on Eventbrite and already registered for the event. Their names will remain on the list of attendees however, there are a lot of duplicated names, so we DELETED the duplicates and kept only one. So if you registered your family members with your name, please RE-REGISTER the family members using their names. 15.01.2022 Assalam Alikum everyone, This is to inform you that unfortunately, Eid Prayer tomorrow morning is cancelled. This is due to the recent developments as new COVID-19 cases were declared in Queensland in the last few days. We were trying to manage the event of Eid Prayer in a way that satisfies all requirements for a COVID-19 Safe event, but with the new cases in town, we still think it is too risky. So for your safety, we decided to cancel the prayer in the nearby park.... We urge you to pray Eid at home with your families. We pray Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala that this pandemic pass with everyone safe and sound. We truly appreciate your patience through the last few days. Please forgive us for any shortcomings. 06.01.2022 Assalam alikum everyone, Alhamdulillah, with Allah's will, the Masjid has concluded the renovations in the Women's section and now ready to receive sisters for daily prayers, as well as Friday prayers from next Friday, the 27th of November, insha' Allah. With social distancing, women's section can accomodate up to 20. Please make sure not to exceed this number.... May Allah abundantly reward those who made it possible with their hard work, commitment, patience, assistance and donations. Jazakom Allah Khair

04.01.2022 Assalam alikum everyone, There are no limitations instructed by the Government for gatherings in places of worship. So Friday prayer remains as usual.... It is recommended however, as per Government instructions, that attendees wear face masks. Please follow below link to register online for a spot in Today's Friday Prayer. We also would like to remind our sisters that Friday Prayers are still for men only until further notice. This is to allow us to use the sisters section of the Masjid to accommodate more attendees as social distancing requires extra space. If you want to come to the Masjid to perform prayers, or attend the daily prayers congregations, please use downstairs. This is until further notice.... Please maintain social distancing and follow the COVID19 safety instructions. Also please note that women's section is not available for Friday prayers due to the requirements of social distancing for men. Jazakom Allah Khair
