24.01.2022 On Monday, the students of Primary A went out to Ngarrirli (this is a waterfall when there is big rain) and just look at all their smiling faces throughout the morning. Joeline and Renae talked about the area in Kukatja and the children loved showing Miss Bec and Miss Amy their backyard. The children then narrated parts of the trip and are very proud of their work. We hope you enjoy it as much as we did!

12.01.2022 This is how our staff at Luurnpa Catholic School spent their Sunday. Everyone packed into 7 cars, filled with teachers and community members. We convoyed out to Mulan Lake where the new teachers were mudded up before we all ate our mangarri together including the damper made by the ladies. It was a day we will never forget, palya.

06.01.2022 A few weeks ago, Primary C went to Warlayirti Artists - Balgo. The children worked alongside their family members to create these amazing pieces of art.

05.01.2022 Luurnpa Catholic School started the year with a smoking ceremony by the Church Elders who welcomed the staff to their community. We all shared our backgrounds with everyone, locating them on a map before placing soil from our homes together underneath a tree for a great year of growth.

03.01.2022 What a great way to start Week 5! The Kindy children and AFaFE families use the pool every Monday and Friday morning. At the moment we are practising games for our swimming carnival next week where we will be having noodle races, kickboard races and more.
