There will be an estimated 15,270 new diagnoses of breast cancer in Australia in 2014, so Mother's Day Classic is asking the community to consider these resolutions - a powerful way to manage your own health and support those with breast cancer: RESOLUTIONS: Resolution one: Get moving for good health - start walking and who knows, that shuffle may soon become a run. Research shows that physical activity reduces breast cancer risk and can offer a better outcome for breast cancer patients. Resolution two: Registrations are open now online for Mother's Day Classic so sign up, start training with your mates and raise funds to support breast cancer research. Resolution three: Be part of the solution register for Mother’s Day Classic and take an extra 5 minutes to set up your fundraising page and raise additional funds for breast cancer research. We know participating in Mother's Day Classic has set many women, men and their families on the path to better fitness - they walk one year, get the bug and come back as runners a year later. We are encouraging you all to make a resolution that will make a big difference. Inspiration Awards Is there someone special in your life who has been an inspiration to you, made you strive to do better to be better? This year the Mother’s Day Classic’s proud major sponsor, ME Bank, is offering the chance to win your inspiration $5,000!! How to enter register for the 2014 Mother’s Day Classic, set up your fundraising page and raise just $100 to go in the draw to win. When you reach the $100 mark you will be sent an email asking you to tell us in 100 words or less why your special person is your inspiration. The winner will also win $500 for themselves as a reward. Competition opens Saturday 1 February - all those who have raised $100 prior to this date will also be included.
