10.01.2022 What are the differences between Collagen, Gelatin & Collagen Peptides? Collagen is a long chain of amino acids that are too large to cross the intestinal wall, its full-length form makes it difficult to break down during digestion. To break collagen down is by boiling skins, tendons or bones producing a gel like form resulting in Gelatin. However, Gelatin still doesn’t have the best absorbability. We break down Gelatin even further through a hydrolysis process by enzy...mes into a lot smaller particles called peptides. These particles are much better absorbed into the bloodstream because they have much shorter chains of amino acids than both collagen and gelatin. Hence, Collagen Peptides and Hydrolysed Collagen are terms used interchangeably. @luvolife.com.au LuvoLife Marine Collagen Peptides are hydrolysed into extremely low molecular weight at 3,000Da making it highly bioavailable for the best absorption for our bodies to provide us with complete nourishment of our skin, hair, nails and bones. Due to its amino acids, it also strengthens immune system. Available in-store at @mrvitamins and online at mrvitamins.com.au Also available online in our bio link. See more

04.01.2022 Codfish are usually only found in deep sea such as the Atlantic Ocean and the Pacific Ocean. Our collagen is 100% from deep sea codfish and we don’t mix it with collagen from farmed fishes. Many brands use both collagen from farmed fish and sea fish under the name of marine collagen and is technically incorrect. If you’re after a pure source of marine collagen, always read a brand’s ingredient list and find out their source of collagen; the type of fish, country of production and whether their fish is sourced from deep sea or farms. Deep sea fish are more nutritious than farmed fish as they have a more natural and diverse diet and move around a lot more than farmed fishes.
