17.01.2022 PLEASE READ **THIS IS NOT ONE OF OUR CANDLES** BUT... This is what can happen if instructions aren't followed! Yep. That's right, candles have instructions! :o Now we don't know for sure what exactly cause this but from my experience either ... A. The wick wasn't trimmed before relighting. Or B. It was burnt dry. Trimming of the wick prior to lighting is extremely important! It helps to avoid sooting, excess smoke and a big flame. You also need to make sure there is at least 1.5cm of wax remaining at the bottom of the jar - when you get this far down the candle is done, continuing to burn results in excess heat within the jar to the point where the flame no longer has anything to burn and will cause the glassware to crack or even explode! You will find this information on the base of your candle! The picture on the right is what the jar looked like prior!

This is something close to me, as 9.5yrs ago I lost my mum to breast cancer she fought a long, hard battle but in the end she just wasn't strong enough.
