07.01.2022 This is the state of my clients nails after removing acrylic applied at a nail bar located in our local shopping centre. An E-File (also known as an electric file) should NEVER be used on the natural nail plate. By doing this you are causing major damage and inflicting trauma on the nail bed. This poor nail has been filed right down to the nail bed! This can be the cause of some pretty nasty infections.
