18.01.2022 REST & RESTORE// Rest is such an important part to healing the body and mind. You may not realise that when you run your body down the small aches and pains you have start to worsen you feel the pain more severe and it comes more frequently, you start to sleep less, your constantly tired, your moody. The list goes on this is your body telling you to STOP and the more you push through the worse it gets. Sometimes you just need to take a step back and let the body get the res...t it needs. Take that holiday, slow your life down and take in all the precious moments that you get to experience. Im currently teaching 35 classes a week Pre corona it was 43 classes. If you catch me yawning in class I think 3 years of teaching has finally caught up with me and my body, so you may notice a few changes in the schedule or a few morning slots that are no longer available these are changes I am making to ensure I can teach you the best classes I can..

Joseph Pilates created pilates during WW1 to help rehabilitate injuries men.... Improve Sport Performance- whether your pro footy player or full-time mad dog pilates focuses on strengthening and lengthening those muscles to help prevent injuries and fine tuning your form during exercises to get the best results. Work Those Muscles- Pilates works the all those muscles you didn't realise you had the smaller stabling muscles and the ones that are often neglected or overworked. Slow & Controlled- The movements are slowwwww controlled movements which are low impact causing less injury or harm to the body. The slower you go the better the burn. Hard-CORE- Did I mention Joesph Pilates rocked a 6 pack in his 80s. Pilates works your entire core, stabilising the deep muscles. 10.01.2022 Ive been a little quiet on my social media lately. Im really struggling with the winter blues. Does anyone else get like this ? Unmotivated,tired,lazy ? I just need the sunshine ... Im trying to get back into a routine and get back into my daily FREEZING COLD walks but look I just hate winter Im not made for this cold weather. In 6 weeks I will be in the sunshine and by the salty air so I will use this as my daily motivation to kick your asses in to gear and get my ass moving. See more
