24.01.2022 How to choose the right extensions for you! You are not alone if you have felt confused about what each type of extension is and what look it achieves! A lot of lash artists will have different names for the sets that they do and that can make choosing your set really, really confusing. ... So, here is a simplified version of the differences between them, and a breakdown of the look they achieve, so that you know exactly what set to book in for! CUE HAPPY DANCE! CLASSIC HALF SET In a Classic Half Set we apply individual extensions to half of your lashes and the look that it achieves is similar to a lash lift. So, it will lengthen your lashes, add more curl, and the lashes we apply are jet black which means it will look like you’ve had a tint and the lashes look healthier. CLASSIC FULL SET In a Classic Full Set we apply individual extensions to every single natural lash that you have which creates a mascara type effect. HYBRID FULL SET In a Hybrid Full Set we get the classic extensions and we mix other lashes that are going to do exactly what a classic does but it will also make them look a bit fuller. Those prices are WAY too high! If so, you’ve probably wondered why some lash artists charge so low while others don’t. ... The answer: You get what you pay for when it comes to lash extensions. $60 volume full sets = unsafe/low-quality products used and terrible application that has been rushed causing damage to your natural lashes. Within the next 48 hours of being applied, the adhesive is in the drying stage. ... Humidity is the biggest killer when it comes to adhesive issues because it prevents the adhesive from drying completely leading to massive fallout. I hear people say, I made sure I kept my face out of the shower stream though!. That doesn’t matter! You could simply put your child into the (and not get yourself wet at all) and this would still prevent the glue from drying. Why?... because the HUMIDITY in the AIR is the main issue.
