05.01.2022 Dental practice update 22/04/2020 The prime minister yesterday announced the easing restrictions for dental practices in Australia to Level 2 under the ADA Dental service Restrictions guidelines from Monday 27th April. Our priority is to maintain the health and safety of our staff, patients and the community. We continue to implement strict infection control and screening guidelines.... Our precautionary measures include but not limited to: - All dental visits by appointment only - Hand sanitiser at our reception desk - Prescreening questions before each appointment - Measuring patients temperatures - Pre-rinsing with an antibacterial rinse before each appointment - Performing procedures under rubber dam where indicated - Adequate PPE for dentist and Staff to continue to work in a safe environment Under level 2 restrictions, dental treatments that are allowed are those unlikely to generate aerosols or where aerosols generated have the presence of minimal saliva/blood due to the use of rubber dams.
