25.01.2022 Happy Harmony Day from Riverhaven :) We are so lucky to live in a community with a diverse range of cultures. What is Harmony Day? Harmony Day, 21 March, celebrates Australia’s cultural diversity. It’s about inclusiveness, respect and a sense of belonging for everyone. It is a day for all Australians to embrace cultural diversity and to share what we have in common. The central message for Harmony Day is that ‘everyone belongs’, reinforcing the importance of inclusiveness to all Australians.

19.01.2022 Join in the fun at the Southern River Community Garden’s annual Springfest on Sunday 25 October from 10.30am to 12.30pm. Springfest is an event for the whole family featuring plants and cakes stalls, a sausage sizzle, bush tucker tastings, face painting and other free activities for the kids. Musicians from Southern River College will entertain the crowd and children can explore the garden with an exciting scavenger hunt. Students of the college will also be offering free PH... soil tests, so bring along a sample of soil from home. Springfest event is a fantastic opportunity for the community to come together, meet their neighbours and celebrate the garden’s progress to-date. Located at the rear of Southern River College on Anaconda Drive, Gosnells, the garden is a partnership between the City of Gosnells, Southern River College and the community.
