09.01.2022 The engineers at LX Group are hard at work (sort of) building an IOT (Internet of Things) controlled jet engine today. As a bit of fun before the 2013 Christmas holidays, this is a chance to step away from the formal stuff and just let loose on a hardware, firmware, software + mechanical buffet of goodness. The jet's turbine spins at speeds up to 120,000 rpm, requiring the control systems to be robust, and safe. Non mission critical control and monitoring components are entirely controllable via the cloud ... yep ... there's an app :).
