15.01.2022 Ramdon things that jewellers do... Ideally, all the soldering is completed by the time you set your stones. Some stones can take the heat, but for some its a hard NO avoid at all costs! ... But for most things it's a don't heat if you don't have to, kind of situation... There are many different types of heat protection pastes out there you can buy...... Or some wet beach sand and a cut-up can will do the trick!! Thanks husband for the can! And waaayy back in the day before anyone knew any better jewellers often used asbestos!

01.01.2022 Some little gallery settings I made These little topaz stones were provided by my lovely client, I just needed to make the settings I really enjoy each step in creating jewellery, the marking out the filling and polishing. ... I just crank the tunes get in my little zone and sing away as I work. There is a casting or a prefab setting for just about everything in this industry I work in, but to me, that’s just no fun at all!! I would miss out on letting my creativity flow And you wouldn’t have jewellery handcrafted with love
