25.01.2022 When we were building our home I so did NOT want a tv in the living room. I only wanted one in the media room. I didn’t want to have the big black frame up on the wall. I wanted a scripture frame or art, just NOT a Tv . But that changed about two weeks before we closed! Yeah I’m sure I gave our building manager PTSD from all the changes I made last minute. My husband was totally fine either way, Ken is not a big Tv guy. But the more I thought about our day I realized w...hen the kids do watch a movie during the day, I’d rather have them down stairs with me then up in the media room. That way the media room is more for movie nights and not so much the during the day Donut Man, Dude Perfect, Superbook spot. With this @samsungus frame TV I forget that it’s a TV. I love it so glad we bought it and that we have a tv down stairs. We’re a hubby and a wife who love remaking homes together! I do the designing and he does the building/ heavy lifting. 24.01.2022 We celebrated my parents 40th wedding anniversary yesterday. We all pulled together and it came out lovely! So thankful for them! @ Dallas, Texas
24.01.2022 Our clients’ new homeschool room is complete! They needed to move from their classroom that was originally based in their study. We transitioned them to this bright, open space and tried to create a peaceful, organized classroom for them with their children in 3 different grade levels. Now, on to creating a streamlined, functional work space for the dad who is now working from home! Office design to come! @ Dallas, Texas

22.01.2022 Swipe to see our BEFORE and AFTER. We originally had a foosball table and arcade console in here, but our Gameroom room is the lading area for the stairs. I just didn’t like going up and constantly seeing the GAME ROOM. So we took those games into the Play room and turned this into the a cozy game board room. And It is working out so much better. One day we will get furniture in here, but honestly I don’t think our kids mind it all that much. Most of their time in this room i...s spent playing on the floor anyway. 21.01.2022 At out home in CA we had a double oven, BUT the bottom was more of a broiler and burnt food in seconds... So the bottom was a no go! It also had to be plugged in to the fridge outlet because the outlet for the oven didn’t work. So I had an extensive chord plugging it into our fridge . Yeah that was not nice. All of that to say, it is such a huge blessing to actually have not only a working oven but it looks pretty too!
21.01.2022 Katia Love’s Room! Yes, if your were following along in my stories, I’m sure you saw that we were planning on giving her a princess room. Well that was the plan, but we had another project come up that we needed the funds for. So we decided to get her a new bed from @nfmpics and stick to the bedding that she already has. She absolutely loves it!
21.01.2022 Okay guys this is such huge progress for us! Believe it or not we have been without mirrors in our master since we moved in! Yes it was pretty terrible. When we built our house we opted for no mirror because I wanted sconces and it wouldn’t work with a large mirror. 20.01.2022 Kids sleeping room. Our kids are so close in age, 5 and 7, that we wanted them to not feel alone when it’s bed time. I also wanted their sleeping room to feel peaceful and CLEAN . I don’t know about you all, but my kids can make a mess in seconds. And having a room without toys, that is set aside for sleeping is so calming. 18.01.2022 Remember the we wall we working on? Well we finished it! ( A couple weeks ago! I just forgot to post ) My husband cut the shiplap from a large sheet of plywood. So we were able to save a whole lot of money doing it this way. On the down side it definitely is lot a more work doing it this way. 16.01.2022 This view always helps doing laundry to not be as dreadful. If you’ve been following our stories then you know we’re right in the middle of an office Reno project! It should be done by the end of this week. We have hit a couple of snags but thankfull so far they have made us have to come up with a product, so all is ok!
16.01.2022 Micahs Room! We did it, they now have their own rooms. It is definitely going to be a change considering they’ve always shared a room. We decided to keep the @potterybarnkids Treehouse bed. We seriously love this bed! We changed the top into more of a fort and the bottom is his bed. Next we will work on a desk for him.
14.01.2022 There is nothing that makes my heart happier then seeing my children reading their Bible! I have loved this room layout, but my son hasn’t wanted to sleep on the top bunk. He said it gets really hot up there and he doesn’t like being high. So we decided it was time to give them their own rooms. We were originally looking at another breed, but when I saw him I knew he was the one. The puppy season is definitely not an easy one, but it is one of the most rewarding. 07.01.2022 SWIPE TO SEE THE PROGRESS! I’ve been telling Ken that I want a long table for our entryway. Our entry has an EXTREMELY long hallway (about 22ft). It’s just a LONG blank wall. Even though we had a table there it just felt incomplete. We looked at the wood that we had and he was pretty sure he could make what I was wanting with what we had. AND HE DID! It seriously came out flawless!!! I love the way it fits our entry! This table is 8ftx16in. Custom sizes and stains are available. If your are interested in placing an order just DM us!!

06.01.2022 The DIY shelf is done! Love the way it came out. One of my favorite things about this shelf is how inexpensive it is to make. It literally can cost HUNDREDS to purchase a shelf this long! I used left over wood so it didn’t cost me anything but it would be about $12 to make this shelf on your own. So good right?!?!

06.01.2022 This is office was such an amazing project to work on! We thoroughly love going in to a room that’s a difficult spot for our client and making it a beautiful functional space that fits our their style. Now they can easily work from home and homeschool without interrupting one another.

But is DONE! Our laundry room was very basic before, really nice, but basic. We knew we wanted to add a built in dog crate for our Newfoundland puppy while adding character to the room with millwork. 04.01.2022 The Media room is done and ready for movie night! So glad I decided to paint the console instead of getting a new one. The best part about this project is that we didn’t have to buy a thing to do it. I used sanded it down and used leftover paint. I started to used a brush at first, but I didn’t like the brush strokes so I pressed down the roller and got an extremely smooth surface. We love the way it came out. ... 03.01.2022 I’m not great at eloquently writing my thoughts or feelings or pretty much anything. It’s not my gift. But I wanted to express my extreme sadness over the horrific disgusting death of George Floyd. I know racism exist, as a Hispanic American women I’ve experienced it. I remember when I was 8. We were on our way to Yosemite for a vacation and we stopped at a local breakfast place and they looked at my family disgusted and wanted to seat us in the back by the restrooms and neve...r came back to serve us. Mind you the restaurant was very much empty. We left and drove through jack in the box instead. I’ve had family members that are dark brown, pulled over because they looked like someone who is probably on parole and so many other situations. My experiences don’t come close to what our black community has gone through. But we stand with you to end all racism. But the end of all things is at hand; therefore be serious and watchful in your prayers. And above all things have fervent love for one another, for love will cover a multitude of sins. 03.01.2022 It takes me a while to get used to a new album. I love worship music. No I am obsessed it. I can’t even express how much I need to worship. But it takes me a while to get used to a new album. I know I’m weird like that. It is a rare thing for me to fall in love with a song immediately. But I fell in love with Bethels new song EGYPT. Go listen and worship!!
02.01.2022 Love this Pantry Organization project we we’re able to complete this week. Our client loves to bake detailed sugar cookies and needed a pantry that would be able to fit the everyday essentials along with all of her baking supplies. We love the way it came out! 02.01.2022 Phase one of this office project is done! We used Havsta cabinets from IKEA, for the large side cabinets and Ken built cabinets with the same design to go under the desk. This will give them more storage while adding the support that the desktop needs. It was important for us to create a large working area as this will be the husbands work office. Next on the list is to install 3 monitors onto wall mounts, finish the trim around the desktop, install the grommet for the chords and install an out let for the top of the desk, new light fixture and the final touch will be the rug. @ Dallas, Texas
