06.01.2022 Sad to see the Bible Society-owned Eternity news site attacking ACL for standing up for religious freedom. Of course there are many issues of justice for the vulnerable which Christians should be fighting for, and ACL’s critics mention some. But to suggest freedom of speech and religion should be ignored is reckless. What the Bible Society doesn’t realise is that if Izzy can’t quote the Bible in public, none of us will be able to in due course. The victims of woke ideas, unborn children and those denied their mother or father, need fearless public advocates informed by the Bible. The Bible Society should be in ACL’s corner. Sadly it is not.
