14.01.2022 1 in 11 women have this disease and many of them don’t even know they do!! If you struggle to lose weight from the top of the hips down, bruise easily, experience pain when you push into your legs, have a cuff appearance on top of your ankles or fat pads around your inner knee and often crave carbohydrates you may have lipoedema. Those are just some of the symptoms and signs experienced by people with this disease. I speak from experience, as I have lipoedema type 2 early stage 2.
