13.01.2022 Have you had a good sleep last night? If you did, now you must feel good, refreshed and energised. Sleep is so essential to wellbeing, isn't it?! When you sleep, the body regenerates itself including balancing hormones. The brain releases hormones which repair blood vessels, encourage tissues growth, restore the damaged muscles, heal wounds, sores and eliminate toxins from a cellular level.... See, people spend a lot of money to see doctors, to have therapies, on blood tests, and on supplements to get hormones balanced. Have you ever thought a good night sleep will enable the body to do the work? The body heals. What happens if you wake up many times during the night or too early in the morning? You want to drink coffees, energy drinks, eat sweets and carbohydrates, feeling the fatigue, frustrated during the day. Imagine if you have a big day ahead, worse if you have an important meeting or interview to attend. How much sleep do you need during the night? About 7-9 hours. Everyone is different, some people need more hours sleep than the other. Here are some tips to help you get some quality sleep: - have a light dinner - make a to-do list for the next day - stop watching tv or on computer 30 minutes before bed - have a bath with Epsom salt - having a cup of herbal tea before bed - have a teaspoonful of honey - be in bed before 10pm - not to use the phone in bed - make sure the lights are off during sleep - meditate to quiet your mind for a few minutes Generally, if you want to have a healthy body and a healthy mind, it is vital to pay attention to your sleep and improve the quality of your sleep.



09.01.2022 Do you like strawberries, raspberries and blueberries? I do. I still remembered decades ago, I used to carry a basket to go to the local farmers' market to purchase vegetables and strawberries while I was in Shanghai. I was so happy when it was strawberry's season. I loved all the small, red, delicate and delicious strawberries. Recently, I bought some strawberries from a supermarket and forgot them in the car overnight. The next day, I forgot them again in my bag for the w...hole day. Guess what? When I got home, the strawberries were still firm and in good forms which makes me think how much chemicals had been sprayed on the fruit to keep it that way. I know it is impossible to buy everything organic every day in reality. But I hope you can wash them thoroughly at least, soaking the berries in the water with apple cider vinegar or bicarb for a few minutes. Please pay attention to what you eat and also what you feed your family.

04.01.2022 Our body doesn't produce hormones on its own. We need to feed our body with nutrients to produce hormones. Minerals are essential for it. For the body to function well, we need many minerals, like calcium, phosphorus, magnesium, zinc, sodium, selenium, iron, copper and lots of others. The best source of minerals is from the whole plant food. Because they are real food, they create energy. Our body is made of energy. The cells in our body have electrical currents. They commu...nicate with each other, tell each other what to do. They need minerals to function. Everything in our body needs minerals to function, from our digestive system function, heart beating and brain function. If we don't have enough minerals, we feel sick. A healthy body shouldn't get sick all the time. Some people believe that they are suffering because they are old. No, it is more likely because of mineral deficiency. Where to get them? Because of overfarming, we don't get many minerals from the soil any more. The soil is mineral deficient; then our food doesn't contain many minerals either. Minerals are the key to our soil health, animal health and our human health. If we don't feed animals with whole plant food, then we couldn't get the right nutrients from unhealthy animals. If the crops and animals have a mineral deficiency, when we eat them, we won't get many minerals either. We won't be healthy, we get sick, as simple as that. When taking minerals, the whole food plant-based minerals are the best. They are in micro-minerals and trace minerals forms. Our body loves them. Otherwise, they stay in our body and become toxic. We need to take a mineral supplement. Taking the mineral supplement is even more important than a vitamin supplement in a way. Try a good mineral supplement for 90 days at least and see how much your health might improve. We know our body heals itself when we take good care of it.
