06.01.2022 Lyn Watson at the Dingo Discovery Centre says that she wishes that the centre didn't have to exist, nor the zoos and sanctuaries that her breeding program helps.... She wishes that the dingo was safe to live in the wild without the threat of being killed by 1080 poison, or being shot. She's right. The centre houses dingoes that have been DNA tested to have 100% dingo bloodlines, and their aim is to increase that population with a dream to reintroduce them into our native bush where they belong. To stop labeling them wild dogs, a name that allows them to be killed indiscriminately. The dingo is perfectly evolved in our environment. They belong here, and they must be truly protected. They don't try to bend or change the environment to their will, we are the only species that does that, and we have to stop.
