25.01.2022 Behold my Free 3 day Mini Meditation Mindshift I created this as the pre-course to my 7 day Meditation Mission starting next Sunday... but it’s Free and available to everyone. This is allll the bits to set you up, to show you that it is possible... that anyone can meditate. Yes. Anyone.... I have created this for the beginners, the ones who want to but don’t know where to start, who think they’re not the right ‘type’ of person, who think they can’t get out of their heads and drop into their hearts, or who think they’re doing it ‘wrong’... Just to give you a bit of an idea of what you experience: Enter into a candle and fairylight lit room and adorn yourself in essential oil of your choice Choose a space in our half moon shaped layout so we are in a circle, lay or sit down and relax listening to the ambient music whilst everyone arrives and settles in... Start with a centring and some guided breathwork and/or visualisation to ground yourself into your present experience Move through about a 50 minute yoga flow practice where modifications and guidance are offered throughout Some final breathwork to really bring you towards a meditative brainwave state Lay back and relax as you receive the harmonious and resonant sounds of the healing crystal singing bowls, taking you into even more of a meditative and deep state of consciousness where you may experience insights, clarity, revelations, cellular healing, release or just a deep sense of bliss. 20.01.2022 I have loved my little Candlelight Yoga planning pad this year... it served me well and fortuitously got me to the last session of Candlelight Yoga for 2020... as I planned my last class on the very last page I thought it was very fitting that this beautiful gift I received from @rebeccacunninghamart has been used for such a beautiful purpose... because my sister is a beautiful and creative soul... so that’s what I dedicated this note pad to. I like to have a general outline ...for my classes and then see what evolves as we move through the practice. So I’d say it’s more of a guide than a plan. We always end up doing something a little different depending on the vibe of the day and the class... Oh and Candlelight Yoga will be back in 2021 with a new focus... Super excited for the evolution... Watch this space!

17.01.2022 What story are you telling yourself around ‘why meditation is not your thing...?’ It’s okay, I’ve been there too. I had the best stories. The most common stories... I don’t have time...I can’t still my mind... it’s just not for me...... I look back on that version of me with a compassionate laugh. It was just a story I kept telling myself and it was playing out. But when I consciously decided to change my story I changed also to meditating is for me... and I have more than enough time to meditate every day. In my Free 3 day Mini Meditation Mindshift we will cover these stories and beliefs that we hold around meditating and shift them to a place of openness and possibility. 17.01.2022 Meeting, Seeing and Accepting all parts of my Self today. We journeyed early this morning into the subterranean landscapes of our internal being to meet the dark under the light. We came to know that without acknowledging and owning both parts of self we are denying the totality of who we really are. Just as day and night make one whole day, our light side and our dark side make up our whole human. To deny any part of ourselves is to reject parts of ourselves and to send sub...liminal messaging to our subconscious that there is something ‘wrong’ with us. The beauty here is that these unwanted and rejected parts of self that we ignore, deny or disassociate from are here only to teach us a lesson... once we face it and lean in toward it and learn the lesson, that darkness starts to dissolve. In other words, once we meet, see and accept the traits and thoughts we are ashamed, embarrassed, guilty of we can start to unravel them. They are not a long term part of us unless we avoid them and deny them. Because in doing so we push them down and stuff them even deeper into our psyche, so that they just continue showing up over and over until we actually do something about it! Own it! Own who you are in wholeness and totality. For you are beautiful, wild, free, whole and perfect in every way just the way you are. Once you re-member that and re-member who you are the parts of self that you have previously rejected will start to shed and fall away. Sending so much love and light to all of you. Love to honour you and light to help to face the darkness and not be afraid of it. For it in fact makes up one half of you... Happy New Moon

09.01.2022 I don’t have time to Meditate... I hear this all the time. I used to hear it from my own self’s excuse bank back in the day... My answer to this now is ‘I don’t have time to not meditate’.... Meditation is a time multiplier. Whilst time does not exist during the act of meditating, the act itself improves mental focus, concentration and clarity. It improves moods, stress and outlook. The ripple effect of improvement and positivity on your life and the people around you is a cumulated over time. So Much so that eventually you can flex your meditation muscle and drop into the Zen Zone on order... So if you say ‘I don’t have time’... I say ‘you need to meditate for twice as long’. I’m feeling the triggery switch off from this post for some on reading that, but that’s okay. I used to be the same. What would she know about how busy I am?! I know, Right? But the thing is, it doesn’t have to take forever, and it doesn’t have to be in a completely quiet space with no one around you. You can simply pop your headphones in wherever you are and take 5-10 minutes of ‘time out’ to find your Zen Zone. Even In the midst of chaos (in fact that’s even more so encouraged). So if ‘carving out that quiet time’ seems impossible... it’s okay. There is another way... Join me from Thursday for 3 days to unlock the mysteries and myths around meditating.
