These cards are often used in film to depict the darkness of the Tarot but really in the scheme of the Major Arcana's journey these cards represent facets of our mental processes. These cards are in the second degree of the Major journey and feature the knowledge of the powers of the subconscious. By looking at the sign on the cusp of houses we can tell how we react towards the contents of each house whether we have planets in them or they are empty. The Seasons of the Witches gives us a great planning strategy and the Nine Fold Muse is an action spread. It high lights where to begin and what are the greatest challenges.
