I trained at an amazing and unique Natural Therapies College in Sydney. Our beauty training was completely different to the traditional beauty training offered today and even back then I would say it was ‘alternate’. 13.01.2022 I love my job for many reasons but helping people with their skin problems is my biggest passion by far. If you swipe through the next few pics you’ll see one of my clients skin. She was contemplating acne medication but wanted to try the natural way as one last effort at clearing her skin. The first pic shows a very sore, inflammed and highly reactive skin. I remember feeling her skin for the first time, it was hot, extremely bumpy to run my hands over and it just felt and l...ooked so so sore. So our journey together started with a big change in skincare. I started this client on natural skincare, a strict routine using @veggie_butter_skincare oil cleanser, petal polish and turmeric cream. The client also removed most sugar from her diet and was super strict with pillow case and hand/touching/picking rules and hygiene. We also started regular deep cleansing facials with extractions, then once the infection was under control we targeted the scaring with microdermabrasion, the odd peel and weekly LED treatments using the blue and NIR Light to kill off bacteria, help heal the scaring, pigmentation and skin rejuvenation. 01.01.2022 For those of you who haven’t had the pleasure of meeting this smiling face in the salon, this is Carolina my new beauty therapist. Carolina brings passion, knowledge and a great smile to the salon and will be helping me over the busy Christmas period so we can keep the neighbourhood beautiful. Carolina will be helping me by doing most of the shellac polishes, relaxing facials, LED and microdermabrasion treatments leading up to Christmas which will free me up to get everyones... waxing done in speedy times. The salon will be closed from the 23rd December and will reopen on Tuesday 5th Jan. Carolina will be opening the salon each day from 11am till 5pm (tue-fri) and 9am-1pm on Saturdays for selected treatments and skincare sales.
