24.01.2022 Casual Wednesday night sewing classes. With Christmas just around the corner and with all those projects that need finishing or even starting for the next 5 Wednesday nights I’ll be running Casual Classes. You are welcome to come along for one or two or maybe all five nights to have some help with all the things you have been putting off. Time 7:00-9:00 pm... Cost is $40.00 for two hours. 18.01.2022 *Long post warning, not something I normally work with. * Chris is a lovely lady that has been coming to sewing classes for about 2years. She has sewn some lovely things. This project has been a labour of love and also therapy. Chris lost her husband a couple of years ago and this has been a project she has had around for the last 10 years. But life happens, so this was put aside..... Well today it got finished. We had some tears, happy and sad. But oh my gosh I’m so proud of... what Chris has achieved. She’s not on Facebook but please send her some love and I’ll pass it on to her next Tuesday. Her beautiful message(in comments) to me when she got home and placed the quilt in her bed.

14.01.2022 What a wonderful way to end the first week of School holiday Sewing Workshops. These young ladies have sewn with me before and I love the creativity and style they all possess. We have a lovely vintage jacket that got started and will be finished very soon, we have a very soft feminine vintage dress and then we have the snuggle blanket that is reversible and a nearly finished double sided minky blanket with bamboo wadding inside that Buddy love laying on. To say I am proud of the children I have had over the last four days is an understatement.

14.01.2022 What a fun way to finish off the School holiday Sewing Workshops! The girls were fantastic! We had some complicated garments being sewn with a heavy denim that didnt always want to play the game, overalls with FIVE pockets, a fancy dress with a front overlay and the beautiful mermaid stretch fabric for a skater dress. Thanks for the fun! School holiday workshops will run again next school holidays. Like my Facebook page so you dont miss the release dates
