16.01.2022 Client story time As Covid hit my client found that she could no longer have a stall at her favourite market, Kyogle Bazaar, but she could take part in the (genius) idea the organisers had to take it to an online Facebook event. But she needed her products up and listed on a Facebook shop. That's where we started, I was able to set up her shop and get her taking part online. Sucess! It was a fantastic way for people to continue to support #shoplocal for these small businesses.... But then do you know what she found? She started getting orders online and those orders have continued even after she has been able to return to the markets. More sucess! Now we meet once a week for Facebook lesson so she can share, promote and sell her products via her Facebook page. From her beginings of just knowing how to find her page to now being able to write and schedule posts, it is so rewarding to be able to patiently give people the confidence that they can do this. Best thing is, the other day when I turned up, she had made muesli and gave me my own little jar of it. Best muesli EVER! (and I'm getting the recipe). It doesn't matter if you are starting from the begining and need me to show you what button to press 50 times, we can do that. I can keep it simple. Focused on you. 15.01.2022 Client Story Time Isn't it funny how things connect sometimes. I had set up a Facebook shop for a local business, her friend saw it and wanted it too and so I got her shop up and going. In our conversations I discovered she also needed a bit of a website overhaul and put her in touch with Ben at Wayfarer Publishing and Media because I know he does a fab job. ... Next step this client had applied (and was successful) for the Qld small business Covid grant and do you know what that means? She gets a brand new e-commerce website with Ben and I am giving her Facebook & Instagram a complete overhaul and training so she can move forward simply, consistently and with a plan to get her business showing up online.
