25.01.2022 Flora, fauna and Frankenstein Stage 1 students (Year 1 and 2) present their lovely landscapes, mischievous magpie, cute kitten and a frightening Frankenstein. Colour, line and pattern make an impact and express the joy our students experience when creating art with varied techniques.

20.01.2022 Senior students shine Our high school students are a talented bunch, creating beautiful pieces ranging from print making to ceramics. The strength of the Blayney High School art program is showcased by each student as they develop their personal style for expression. A variety of media is represented including photography, charcoal, acrylic paint, water colour and ink.

19.01.2022 A big day out! Today we celebrated all the hard work of 2020 with a fun day in Bathurst. We started with 2 games of ten pin bowling, enjoyed lunch then headed to the Adventure Playground for some more fun, where we met Mrs Stanley!! We went home after a hot lap of Mount Panorama, in the bus, with our driver Rachel Brockie Meek!... Each of our students were extremely well behaved, well mannered and kind to others in the community. It’s those behaviours that make us stand tall above the rest! 16.01.2022 We love playing games after school with our friends! This afternoon at the RAD-hurst Games we had a great round of Tantrum Tag followed by everyone’s favourite, Fruit Salad. Our cricket match was even better than the Ashes! ... Let’s do it all again next week

16.01.2022 What a great way to finish off Term 1! Today, all of the students travelled to Neville Public School to join with all of the Heritage Country Small Schools for the annual charity colour run. This year our selected charity was the McGrath Foundation. The students enjoyed a great day of craft, cricket and colour, all topped off with a sausage sizzle!... 14.01.2022 Teamwork makes the dream work! Today, Stage 3 students worked together to equally distribute large numbers of items. It sounds easy but they all had to reason, talk, problem solve, listen to each other and collaborate to work out a solution. It did take a few attempts to get it right. ... Our budding artists in Early Stage 1 (Kinder) have been busy painting, drawing, weaving and colouring marvellous masterpieces to share with you.

08.01.2022 Our Lyndhurst Community Garden We are establishing a community garden in Lyndhurst with the aim of growing a range of vegetables and herbs. These will supplement the hampers, that we share with our school community, which are donated by Mandurama Seventh Day Adventist Church. 07.01.2022 Numeracy For 15-20 minutes per day, our K-6 LPS students engage in high intensity numeracy tasks that have been individualised to build the numeracy skills of our learners. This targeted teaching approach is showing huge improvements in student results and engagement, complimenting our regular maths learning quite nicely!... We are loving Mathematics at Lyndhurst! 07.01.2022 Wishing all - the dads, the step dads, the grand dads, the soon to be dads, the mums who do the work of dads, and those without their dads - a happy day. This year - aside from our gorgeous home made gifts - our families were each given a beautiful Fathers Day hamper which was sourced and packed by our School Chaplain, Roger and his family through a very generous community donation. Today at LPS, we had a very informative and productive visit from Lyndhurst local, Beeline Beewares owner, Jenny Douglas, who taught us all how to make beeswax wraps for our sandwiches. These wraps are another step in our sustainability project. We hope to reduce plastics in the Lyndhurst community. These wraps will be sent home on Monday along with a new lunchbox! 06.01.2022 Walk safely to school day! Everyone at LPS walked safely to school today. We all met at the Lyndhurst Rec Ground and walked or rode to school as a group. This event aimed to raise community awareness of the endangered species of the Abercrombie area, such as Woodland Birds, Gliders and the Booroolong Frogs to name a few. ...
