22.01.2022 Lily Coffey is a Deakin University Occupational Therapist student who is undertaking her work placement with The Stables team at Lyndoch Living. Occupational Therapists work within many areas of practice to provide support to people who may be experiencing difficulties in everyday life. Lily is excited about the many kinds of specialised opportunities available as an OT. 13.01.2022 LEST WE FORGET- On this sacred day, we are unable to commemorate together at our home. Traditionally here at Lyndoch Living, we conduct our own Remembrance Day Service, but in line with COVID-19, we decided to embark on a new way of remembering our fallen, not just from the first and second World War, but all confilcts where our service men and women. As part of this ceremony, we share some special stories with a number of our residents who we directly, or in-directly impacte...d by those conflicts, one of whom was Wally Robertson, one of our regions last surviving World War Two Veterans. Lyndoch President Susan Cassidy opens the ceremony, which is beautifully MC'd by Michael Bellamy, Operations Manager. Lyndoch Living Exercise Physiologist and Former member of Australian Defence Force Melanie Kent Presents the Ode, while Warrnambool Salvation Army Corps Lindsay Stow will play for you the last post. A special thank you also goes to Warrnambool College's @Hannah Van Zyl who played the Bagpipes for our Ceremony. Our Remembrance Day Ceremony has been produced by Liam Fitzgerald from FitZ Media Productions, and we hope you enjoy our service.
