18.01.2022 Congratulations to Dasher Riley. I’m proud and delighted to see where her art journey has taken her after completing our Complete Drawing and Painting Certificate Course back in 2012. I always new Dasher would soar. Dasher won first prize for the most outstanding painting entitled Sharon at our end of year Student Awards held at the J Noosa that year and has gone on to win many awards and adding photography to her repertoire as well. She is currently represented by the prestigious Lethbridge Gallery in Brisbane and her work Nautilus (below) has been short listed in one of Australia’s most prestigious art awards the 65th Blake Art Prize which offers $35,000 in prize money. Dasher is the artist in focus at this year’s Immanuel Arts Festival 24th-27th May on the Sunshine Coast.

Age has so many beautiful gifts, but one that I could live without is the pride and resentment we hold onto when we are in conflict with others.
