09.01.2022 Hello everyone, I find nature and especially waterfalls, like this photo very calming and inspirational. The fresh clear waterfall is flowing and moving forward which is where we are at the moment. Gradually coming out of isolation. Hooray we can escape. We still need to adhere to washing hands and distancing. Some restaurants and cafes are allowed 10 people which will increase in the next weeks to come. Each State is at a different pace. A few things to consider:- ... * We need to be grateful for whatever situation we find ourselves in. Being grateful brings more into our life. * Ask for help (including me) if constraints are causing you to be anxious or depressed. * Be gentle with yourself on a daily basis. We wake up feeling different each day. If your body is not wanting to be pushed one day take it easier. The next day you may have more energy to do more tasks. * Listen to your body and what it is telling you. In the beginning I was pushing myself too much after my diagnosis of vertigo. Realising that wasn't the way to handle my situation I slowed down. I am doing things at a slower pace and finishing one project before starting another. I have started writing my second book. lynnecutlerauthor.com to find out more and purchase my first book. * Don't chastise yourself because you didn't achieve what you wanted that day. Reward yourself for whatever you did achieve. Buy a coffee, cook a nice meal, go for a walk somewhere different. * I believe part of the reason we are in this situation is to learn to slow down more. Smell the roses, enjoy the birds singing. Listen to more music. * Enjoy being with your family. You may learn something about them or something about yourself. * Love yourself and tell yourself "I Love You" when looking in the mirror.
