21.01.2022 Happy thanksgiving to all my American friends and followers. If you'd like to know what I'm thankful for today and every day, just take a look at the photo. My daughter, Rachel, is the person I am most grateful for. I thank the Lord that He blessed me with her. We have such a close bond and I wouldn't want it any other way. I love you with all of my heart @rachel.prior. There are many others I am grateful for too. I believe God places people in our lives to bless and enri...ch us - sometimes for a season, sometimes for life. I'm so grateful for my family, for the time I had with my amazing husband, for his family (who I claim as my own), my son-in-law, @trevor_matthew_prior and his family (who I also claim as my own), and for the many friends I've made over the years. Starting with our neighbours - the kids we grew up with, our swimming friends - when I swam competitively and my Dad was our Coach, my school friends, my Beach friends, my work friends, my bosses who became my friends, my Bible College friends, and other Christian friends all over the world. I might not have much in the way of finances or possessions, but I am RICH in relationships which I will be forever grateful for. Last but definitely not least, I am grateful for the Lord Jesus saving me over 33 years ago. If you knew me back then, you would probably be surprised that it happened to me. I'm pretty sure my friends and family were. You see, miracles really do happen. See more
18.01.2022 Thank you to everyone who downloaded my NEW edition of Hannah the Honeybee Has a Dream and to those who read it on KU. I really do appreciate you all. I always get a thrill to see where Hannah has 'flown' to. I had another person from India download this time. It excites me because that's where my father in law was from.

17.01.2022 Tuesday morning was spent with these precious munchkins! We had a blast learning about bees and reading Hannah the Honeybee Has a Dream, with a special appearance from my Hannah crochet toy! S/O to Miss Alyson and Miss Emily who made the cutest little pipe cleaner bees to give out. It was an honour to spend some time with the children and teach an important lesson that all we need to be is ourselves, because ourselves is exactly what this world needs. #hannahthehoneybee #mlccc

13.01.2022 Just one week to go until my much anticipated Book Launch for Hannah the Honeybee. Townsville locals, I hope you can join us. It won't be as much fun without you. There'll be something for everyone: Bee inspired Cakes, Gift items, and Honey for sale. I'll be doing a reading for the children (with help from a little Hannah toy) and signing copies of my book. Christmas is just around the corner so maybe a book or two for gifts & stocking fillers will help to get you started on that. 10.01.2022 I had a lovely time reading my book to the children at the Mt Louisa Community Kindergarten & Preschool on Thursday last week. I hope to have some photos to post soon. Children really are a delight.

09.01.2022 I was reminding myself to be thankful this morning. Something we should do every day not just once a year. My thoughts went to my daughter, then our family and friends. Then I thought of my (late) husband, Sam. He was such a funny guy and made us laugh every day. However, he was very serious one morning while changing our newborns nappy. He yelled out, "Lyn, come quick! You'll have to take over!" I ran from the room wondering what could have gone wrong. He's holding his hand out and says, "I've got some on my finger. I need to wash." How I wish I'd taken a photo because it was a tiny speck that he was so stressed about. It still makes me laugh out loud. I'm happy to report that he soon got used to being a Dad and was the best father a girl could wish for. Just ask our daughter, Rachel, she'll testify to that.

04.01.2022 Have you been to Japan? I haven't, but the photos I've seen cause me to think it's a beautiful country. The cherry blossoms are my favourite thing.
04.01.2022 I'm really looking forward to my first 'Hannah The Honeybee' book reading this coming Tuesday at the Mount Louisa Child Care Centre. I hope the children will learn some interesting things about honeybees & fall in love with little Hannah too.

Thank you to everyone who voted! I missed out on the third round..... by 1. How close is that! It's actually very encouraging to me because I was up against the big kids.
02.01.2022 I am so blessed to still have my 95-year-old father here with us. My daughter lost her dad at the age of six. So as I wish all the dads a very happy father's day, I remember those who are without their dad for different reasons. You are not forgotten.
