25.01.2022 Finished a wall hanging/ blind for our bathroom window to block the afternoon sun. Curtain didn't work, wind kept blowing it down , this has made a huge difference.

25.01.2022 My little Xmas tree , all made from Shade-Cloth except for the red Beads on the Holly and the tinsel on the star. It has some button battery operated LED lights around it. Green shade-cloth is all fringed..

22.01.2022 I will be avoiding the Markets for the rest of Summer...can't handle the heat. I have some shade projects on the go at the moment , so have plenty to do. If anyone wants anything please message me or comment and I will get back asap. Cheers Lyn...stay cool

22.01.2022 It's looking like great weather for the Showgrounds Market Bendigo on Sunday 23rd no rain predicted ! 2 days till Christmas. I have made these Soap & Scrub bags with the ladies in mind, the Sand Colour and the White, are a slightly lighter grade of fabric..a little gentler on skin, great for exfoliating . The black ones in pic are for the boys ! Only $5 each, comes with soap. Designed to hang on a tap outside or in the laundry to wash dirty hands after gardening, or other outdoor activities. Also great for camping, shade-cloth allows soap to drip dry after use. Come and see my other items, Shopping Bags, some Footy Colours at special Xmas prices, storage Bags , Peg Bags, Fruit & Vegie Bags n more, Grab a last minute Christmas Present. See you Sunday ..down the back near Car Park.

19.01.2022 All set up at the Showgrounds Market Bendigo ..Combined market today..lots of bargains for everyone...Christmas prices..Lots of stalls down here near the back car park..Come on down..Merry Xmas everyone.

19.01.2022 Melbourne Storm Large Shopping Bag..has taken me most of the day to make , it will be a "one of" the other 3 that I've cut out will be a much simpler design..

18.01.2022 This is what I've been doing with my Shade Cloth lately. The Green one is my Tomato garden..they are handling the heat a lot better , but will be getting some ends on their green house next. The Terracotta one is to shade my Garden Shed, it is like an oven it there on a hot day. It will be getting a bit of fine tuning as soon as I can. Ted and I put it up tonight so it will be interesting to see how much of a difference it makes tomorrow in the 44 heat. I have another 2 "big " projects to start on as soon as I'm happy with these 2.

15.01.2022 Another 12 Soap & Scrub bags for next Sundays Showgrounds Market...weather permitting I'll be there.

15.01.2022 First attempts ! Under Dee Craigs instruction and help we created our version of the Tree of Life, at the Wire Wrapping workshop, and then with Glenis Beaumonts expertise and patience, myself and a few other interested ladies had a crack at the Loom weaving workshop ..hoping next time I can really get the hang of it..I was so slow ...good thing no one was waiting for an infinity scarf. Such a fun weekend at the Wentworth Makers exhibition and mini Workshops. Next time I'm going to have a try at the Felting Workshop with Anne Hedrics..she was kept busy on Sunday .

09.01.2022 Plain Purple Shopping Bags X 2.. Gorgeous colour, you won't lose these. They are made from water resistant Shade Cloth, normally used for Shade Sails, would be ideal for carrying the "cold stuff" home from the supermarket.

09.01.2022 A couple of days of cutting and sewing to re-stock my Soap & Scrub bags. These are designed to hang on a tap outside or in your laundry to wash dirty hands after gardening , farm work or mechanics, the combination of soap and the abrasive qualities of the shade cloth get hands clean fast ! Bendigo Market Sunday if anyone is looking for cheap pressies. Selling for $5 each comes with a cake of Australian Made Soap .

08.01.2022 1st one of a set of 3 finished...a lot of work with these little fellas but nice and bright for a Garden .. especially during a drought .

08.01.2022 This is what some Baby Figs in Bendigo will be wearing while they grow A man asked me to make 10 bags to protect his figs, they have 2 small velcro closures on the top to hold them on the branch . The colour in the photo isn't quite right they are actually a very bright watermelon Colour Shade Cloth, the same breathable fabric I use for my Fruit and Vegie Bags . A bit of tinsel and his Fig tree could become a Christmas Tree
