22.01.2022 This exciting project in Acacia Ridge involves the construction of a Confucian temple, meditation rooms and ancillary building. The building, which is to be 2 levels with the temple built over a ground level carpark, is just about to enter the construction phase. The construction of the building is generally to be masonry load bearing walls and timber internal walls, reinforced concrete suspended floors and a tiled timber framed roof structure. This project reflects the growing multi-cultural nature of the Brisbane community.

01.01.2022 Work continues with the Roma Street Transit Centre demolition. These photos show some interesting internal details of the temporary structures built to protect the rail platform travelator and escalator from demolition debris falling from a height of up to 6 metres. These structures are steel-framed and clad with multiple layers of structural ply.
