21.01.2022 Wrapping up a fantastic year and eagerly anticipating whats in store for 2020! 2019 certainly had some history making moments for Lynward Park! We watched Fontainebleau grab one final win before retiring to the breeding barn, We acquired a red hot young stallion, many new super broodmares joined our team, and we saw the arrival of 17 new foals.... Bondi was well received in his first season with a strong book packed with many exciting mares. Aim For Gold-the grand dam of 2019 Melbourne Cup winner Vow And Declare, Group 1 winning sprinter/miler- Juice and black type Lynward Park homebreds Im Feeling Lucky and Fontainebleau rounded out his book of 50. Mahutas second crop of foals arrived and continued to impress breeders with their size, strength and scope. 17.01.2022 This week, we are happy to report that the farm is intact and all of our horses are safe despite the fires being within only a few kilometres of the farm. Thank you to all who checked in and offered assistance. The response from the equine community was absolutely incredible! A massive thank you all of the fire fighters and volunteers who did such an amazing job containing the blaze.

14.01.2022 Ted van Heemst is the third longest serving Chairman in the history of the Western Australian Turf Club, his 19 years at its helm surpassed only by Ernest Augus...tus Lee Steere and Ernest Henry Lee-Steere. Born in the Netherlands in 1946, Van Heemst is a graduate of both the University of Melbourne and the University of Western Australia who was elected to the WATC Commitee in 1995. Twelve months later, Van Heemst succeeded Wilson Tuckey as Chairman of the WATC and, during his tenure, the organisation signed a Belmont Park property deal with the Golden Group and formed close ties with Asian clubs, particularly the Singapore Turf Club and its Malayan Racing Association peers, ties that continue to benefit Perth Racing. Van Heemst is a life member of the WATC and his family operates Lynward Park Stud, the home of Bondi and Mahuta.

06.01.2022 Our draft for the Perth Magic Millions Yearling Sale is nearly ready to rock and roll. Thanks to James Powrie Farrier Services for his attention to detail and putting his best into getting our yearlings ready for the sales. Last on the list will be the photos of the draft, which wouldve been done already if the weather man had been successful in keeping the clouds away! 04.01.2022 Murdoch University at Lynward Park! Over the past 5 weeks, our foals have been taking part in some very important research. This season, We have elected our foals to take part in an exciting research project With Equine and Anaesthesia team from Murdoch University. ... The ethically approved research involves recording data that is obtained by placing a belt on the foal which produces a real time image of the foals lungs through the use of electrical impedance tomography!
