23.01.2022 Some of the fun at the playgroup the past two weeks. Mixed collage, water play, number concept learning/exploring and some Messy play (coconut/water play and trucks in Taste safe dirt) Come trial a session this term and see what fun is to be found at playgroup

20.01.2022 Thursdays playgroup session had a Halloween party with lots of sensory play. The children got to explore witches brew, bug up digs, free animals stuck in goop, explore fizzy science Skulls and made spiders out of play dough They then enjoyed a wonderful Halloween themed morning tea We have sessions running every morning if People are looking for somewhere to entertain their children

13.01.2022 Did you know we’ve completed our sail shade project during the forced closure? Many thanks to Perth Sail Shades and Umbrellas for doing a great job and the City of Canning and Playgroup WA providing co-funding with us for the project (sail shades and posts are surprisingly expensive). Our mud kitchen is now perfectly shaded for use all year round. We are open for new members too.

11.01.2022 Whoop Whoop! We were successful in securing 50% grant funding from the City of Canning to complete our sail shade project over the mud kitchen. By next summer this space will be cool and shaded offering our members another great activity to engage in with their children. FYI These photos were taken in winter, so you can only imagine how hot it would get in summer.

As well as supporting local jobs, it'll make sure local kids are making friends at Lynwood Ferndale Playgroup for generations to come.
