09.01.2022 Step-back In Time Saturday! 2014's production of the British musical 'Blood Brothers' was the first of Lyric's productions to benefit from its new tiered seating. "The rough as guts Mickey (Russell Hemming) is perfectly complemented by the prim and proper Eddie (Graeme O’Connor). Madelaine Cantwell is brilliantly dry and funny as Linda, and Leanne Horn is brilliant as Mrs. Johnstone, the mother of the twins." - Sentinel-Times, September 9, 2014.

08.01.2022 It’s Time-Machine Tuesday! 2003 saw Lyric stage ‘Me and My Girl,’ a musical comedy of a young and proud Cockney man who suddenly finds himself heir to a very upper-class estate. Set against the backdrop of Hareford, England, the show was one of the very few to be performed in Leongatha’s Memorial Hall.

08.01.2022 Wind-back Wednesday! Under the direction of Colin Mitchell, Lyric presented the community with a fabulous and bright production of 'Joseph and his Amazing Technicolour Dreamcoat' in 2001. The show boasted an 88-strong children's choir and was a runaway success.
