15.01.2022 I’m shooting almost everyday at the moment, and a preschool every week or two, it’s pretty full on! It takes all my limited energy reserves (did you know I have Lupus? This means I really only have energy to do one big thing in a day, on a good day). I just never know which of my images to publish so I inevitably end up sharing none! This little darling though

13.01.2022 I'm not sure when I will be able to start working again but I imagine the first jobs I will be able to do will be location family sessions outdoors in the fresh air where we can maintain some distance like this one from a while ago. Hope to see you all again soon to share some <3 sunsets at the beach <3

12.01.2022 SMELL YA LATER OCTOBER Anyone else have a crazy hectic month?? Coz it seems like I'm not the only one steeped in chaos at the moment... October was such a wild ride, I photographed HUNDREDS of preschoolers whilst also: my beloved dog died, my eldest son turned 10, I had to keep working through a Lupus Flare (feeling better now after a course of Prednisone) rental inspection (UGH!) AND my partner had surgery. November is already looking so hectic so fingers crossed for smooth sailing but at least it's closer to the end of this crazy year, right?

12.01.2022 The Last Time (author unknown) From the moment you hold your baby in your arms you will never be the same You might long for the person you were before When you had freedom and time... And nothing in particular to worry about You will know tiredness like you never knew it before Days will run into days that are exactly the same Full of feedings and burping Nappy changes and crying Whining and fighting Naps or a lack of naps It might seem like a never-ending cycle But don't forget... There is a last time for everything There will come a time when you will feed your baby for the very last time They will fall asleep on you after a long day And it will be the last time you ever hold your sleeping child One day you will carry them on your hip then set them down And never pick them up that way again You will scrub their hair in the bath for one last time And from that day on they will want to bathe alone They will hold your hand to cross the road Then will never reach for it again They will creep into your room at midnight for cuddles And it will be the last night you ever wake to this One afternoon you will sing "the wheels on the bus" and do all the actions Then never sing them that song again They will kiss you goodbye at the school gate The next day they will ask to walk to the gate alone You will read a final bedtime story and wipe your last dirty face They will run to you with arms raised for the very last time. The thing is, you won't even know it's the last time Until there are no more times. And even then, it will take you a while to realize. So while you are living in these times, remember there are only so many of them and when they are gone, you will yearn for just one more day of them. For one last time.

11.01.2022 COVID19 smooshed all of the preschools I had booked and responsibly spaced into just this last half of the year so I'm crazy busy over here, shooting editing sorting emailing. My social media might have gone quiet but rest assured I'm still here working away <3

09.01.2022 I'm so sad to hear the news of Pippa's passing. I know she bravely fought her cancer so very hard for as long as humanly possible so that her kids could have their mother here for a little bit longer. She was loved by so many in our community and my thoughts go out to you all now. Rest in Peace beautiful Pippa <3
